Exporting from OnDemand3D.

OnDemand3D is a common third-party CBCT suite bundled with several scanner brands in Australia. Its DICOM export is straightforward.

Open the study
In the DBM (database manager) tab, locate the patient and open the CT study.

Export
Use File → Export → DICOM, or right-click the study in DBM → Export. Choose 'Original DICOM' / full series, uncompressed — we need one file per slice. If the dialog offers to write the volume as a single file, don't take it.

Leave Anonymize unchecked
If the export dialog offers an Anonymize option, leave it unchecked — an anonymised scan can't be matched to your case.

Check the folder, then zip
Open the export folder and confirm it holds hundreds of .dcm files, one per slice — a single large .dcm is a multi-frame export we can't forward for reporting. Zip the folder and upload it — typically 200–800 MB depending on FOV.

[ TIPS ]

If the study was imported from another scanner, 'Original DICOM' preserves the source slices — prefer it over re-sampled exports.
A single large .dcm (a multi-frame or 'VOL' export) cannot be forwarded for reporting and will have to be exported again.
